About Colocity Data Centres
Locally-owned and operated colocation data centres
Colocity is a South Australian colocation data centre. We’ve been providing clients with safe, secure and accessible server storage facilities and communications services since launching our first colocation centre in 2007.
In 2015, we opened our second data centre facility to keep up with demand from our growing national and international client base.
As we own and operate both our Adelaide-based colocation data centres, you always deal directly with our team. We take accountability for your service experience to ensure it reflects our commitment to excellence, while the security and stability of your equipment and services is essential to our continued growth and success.
Our promise to you

Reliable data centres in the heart of Adelaide
Setting up your equipment is easy with both our facilities located in the Adelaide CBD. Our central location ensures that no matter which side of the city you’re on, you won’t have to travel to far out of your way to access your equipment.
We can also provide competitive rates for your data communications by reducing fibre optics distances required for fast, steady, reliable data transmission.
Using a local storage site not only provides ease of access, but has a number of benefits over using cloud storage for your data. When you store your data on your own equipment in our secure data centres, you always know exactly where your data is, who has access to it, and that it is covered under local laws that you can enforce should the unlikely need ever arise.
Our history
We recognised a need for affordable, carrier-neutral colocation data centres, as existing centres in SA either lacked sufficient network neutrality, or redundancy. High speed fibre optic cables outside of the city were limited and expensive.
By building a data centre in Adelaide’s business district, we could take advantage of reduced telecommunication service prices and pass these cost savings on to our clients. So, in 2005, we began putting design concepts and plans together for our first colocation data centre to fulfil the existing gap in the market.
